Tennis Clinics for Kids and Adults in Connecticut
Our fall tennis
clinic schedule includes something for every level—from young kids just learning the basics to adults who want to fine-tune their strokes or re-enter the game after time away.
For kids, we offer Red Ball, Orange Ball, Green Ball, and Yellow Ball clinics. Red Ball clinics are great for beginners ages 4–7, focusing on racquet skills, movement, and coordination through fun games and simplified court setups. Orange Ball clinics are designed for ages 7–9 and focus on building rally skills and introducing scoring and positioning. Green Ball (ages 9–11) and Yellow Ball (ages 11+) clinics help kids progress toward full-court play, match strategy, and tournament preparation.
Adult players can choose from beginner, intermediate, and advanced clinic options. If you're brand new to the game, our beginner tennis clinics provide a welcoming environment to learn the fundamentals. For more experienced players, adult clinics feature live-ball drills, match play scenarios, and coaching to help you refine strategy, movement, and shot selection.

Pickleball Open Play in Connecticut
Pickleball continues to grow rapidly across Connecticut, and Ellington Racquet Club is proud to be one of the area’s most active pickleball hubs. This fall, ERC members will receive five free pickleball open play sessions per month as part of their
membership. These sessions are a great way to drop in, play with others, and be part of the community.
In addition to open play, we’re expanding our instructional offerings with beginner pickleball clinics, intermediate workshops, and casual leagues. If you're curious about trying the sport or want to sharpen your skills in a friendly environment, our coaching staff is here to help you feel confident and get involved. - Adult Membership – $50/month - Perfect for individual adult players looking to play tennis or pickleball regularly and participate in programs at a discounted rate.
- Junior Membership – $40/month -
Designed for youth players who are enrolled in clinics, training programs, or looking for regular court access.
For those unsure about committing, we also offer pay-as-you-go options for many of our programs. But for anyone planning to stay active this fall and winter, a membership is by far the best value.
